Checking in was seamless and the gentleman assisting was kind, friendly and very professional. The car we had selected online was not big enough for us with all the luggage we had. He quickly found something more appropriate for a fair price. Driving was easy and we're so glad we decided to rent a car from Hertz.

Service was excellent, very easy to get to our rental after landing in Keflavik, short shuttle from airport to the pickup. The people working here were very friendly and provided lots of good travel tips.

Great service. Drop off was especially great. Car had a door ding and he was able to look up old picture and verify that I didn’t make the ding. He recommended always taking pictures for proof. We then we’re to early for the shuttle to take us to the airport so he offered to give us a ride. Very appreciative! I would recommend this place.

I recently rented a 4x4 car from this car rental for 5 days. In the past I have experienced a lot of trouble with rentals. but I must say that this is the best experience with a rental company I have had. Picking the car up was extremally easy and took us no more then 10 min. The car itself was as we expected and meet all standards. returning the car was as simple as picking it up. we had a very nice service assistant named Ken, that looked over the car and after the car was returned even helped us finding a bigger car on their website for the next time we visit Iceland. there was no unexpected payments regarding returning the car or insurance. the only extra payment we had to make was a ''young driver fee'' and a ''extra driver fee'' and it was almost no money so it was fine. over all 10/10 will use this company again

We were checked in by Mary. I have never received such excellent service. She spent a lot of time with me. Even cautioned me to be careful about the high winds and explaining the we weren’t covered if the doors got ripped off by the wind. She cautioned about speeding and told us about having to pay a toll up north for a tunnel No extra charges. When we got back and turned in the car, Mary drive us to the terminal. Mary us to be commended and given a raise. Excellent.

Easy pickup via KEF airport shuttle. Staff were great! Halldór (sp?) suggested great spots to visit. Mary was there for our return at 4:30am, offered us coffee, and since we needed to be at the airport by 5:30, even offered us a lift if the shuttle was delayed. Thanks to you both! Note that shuttle doesn't start running until 5, but it arrived promptly - no problem to get back to the airport. Fuel station located nearby to top up at return.

Excellent service, very easy to find location for pick up a few mins from the terminal. Staff friendly and knowledgeable . Got free upgrade to a brand new vw taigo. You can link your phone to the car also and use your iPhone maps.

Had a great experience, and really enjoyed the customer service, as they were friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to go.

Easy pick up & drop off. Friendly & efficient staff, good value for money, would definately recommend & will use again on our next visit. Only thing to note is that the shuttle bus to & from the car rental area stops at 6pm, which makes for an interesting hike across from the terminal if you're travelling with heavy luggage!

Booked on-line using my phone - it was so easy and the reservation was confirmed without the need for a credit card. I collected the car at 9am Sunday morning and paid - no hidden extras and the representative Ragnar was extremely helpful and professional with lots of good advice. The service was quick, comprehensive and efficient and both Ragnar and the company were very easy to do business with.

need to wait for a while during pick up as several customers are ahead of us. Only 2/2.5 customer service officers are available at that time. But it’s quite smooth during our turn. CS officers are also nice. Return process also smooth.

We had a very pleasant experience renting from Reykjavik Rent-A-Car. They provided us with our vehicle in a timely manner after an early morning arrival, explained the specific road hazards and conditions that we should look out for, and provided us with a map and discount card to the local fuel stations. Returning the car was quick and easy as well.

Picking up the car was smooth and straight forward. We arrived half an hour early for our Toyota Rav 4 but got given a Ford Kuga. I assume they ran out of our chosen vehicle, but the replacement was still great on our road trip! Dropping off the car was simple too. Reception only asked 3 questions and handed over the keys and the transaction was complete. Will use the company again in my next trip.
